My name is Laura. I'm 21
years old and I'm a senior at the University of Houston. My b-day is 10-23-84.
I'm a bi Witch Nudist. I've been a Nudist since I was 3, but I've been a Witch
since I was about 10. My nicknames include Lals, Tweets &/or Birdy. My
family is great and I love them (no matter what I may have said). My mom's name
is Kathleen, my dad's name is Ernest, and my brother's name is Christopher Jason.
Then there is my soon to be stepfamily. Barbara is dad's fiancée. Along with
Barbara, come our old friends. We've known them for a really long time. I have
an older stepsister (who’s got a boyfriend), younger stepsister, and my younger
stepbrother.
Mom and her fiancée, Gryphon, are doing well. We like Gryphon. He’s a great
man.

I love science and often
believed I’d end up majoring in science because of that fact. I love animals,
manatees (in particular b/c they aren't normally seen); I've been enjoying all
the forensic science t.v. shows on recently (Crossing Jordan)...
now manatees have been one of my favorite animals since I learned about them in
3rd grade (I adopted a manatee from the Save
the Manatee Club)
Now for those of you curious why I chose UH
over a competent school (I admit this)... Jason talked me into it... but so
far, I'm enjoying college life. Especially as an Honor's college student (there were perks)…
besides, I can't learn anything significantly geared toward a real career until
grad school & I actually enjoy life here with Jason & SPOOK (the Society for the Proliferation of
Obscure Occult Knowledge - for bylaws, contact Jason with SPOOK bylaws please
as the subject))
I changed my major to psychology with a minor in philosophy. So far, it’s been
doing me well. One of the most recent things to occur was that one of the
professors of my classes in Spring 2006 recommended me for an internship. I had
already decided to sign up for a research assistantship, and now I had an
internship with Justice For
Children as well. The most recent stuff to occur is I should graduate in
December 2006.
I never got around to talking about the fact that I'm bisexual. Well… I'm bi.
I'm mainly attracted to guys, but I do get attracted to some girls. I was in
the Houston Gay Pride Parade on a float in 2003. It was a lot of fun. Also saw
some people I knew there. So that’s all I can think to write about on that
subject.
One of my best friends
doesn't live around here anymore (the University
of Texas is a smart choice for some)... The other best friend has never
lived around here. He lives in WI. He’s a gay Wiccan living in WI… never a good
combination.
Boyfriends: Boyfriend #1
was an idiot who tried to hit me once... & boyfriend #2, currently living
in Japan due to the Army (I get updates… lucky me), raped me... Yes I am
admitting that to the whole world now. For more info, see Texas Association Against Sexual Assault. I
didn't come out about it for almost a year, trust me it's not worth waiting. It
sent me into the mental hospital for a week (I was considering suicide when it
finally hit... I suppressed the rape as "it was my fault & I don't
want to think about it") - If you're wondering "what caused it to
surface" that answers easy - boyfriend #3 respected me. I hadn't ever been
respected. Apparently, I 'like' being disrespected (as many of you have
probably heard "its incredibly hard to get out of abusive
relationships." & I've been in emotional, sexual, & almost
physical abusive relationships.) If you get abused in anyway, speak out. There is
help out there. It's been a long trip but I'm living a normal life again. I
know it sounds like a long time, but it takes a long time to live again &
you will never be the same as you were. (I'm sorry to tell you that.)
I broke up with boyfriend #3 due to the fact that I really couldn’t handle
never seeing him and hardly ever getting to talk to him. We’ve remained good
friends though.
I’ve recently started dating a new
guy (May 2004). This one I don’t actually want to refer to as “boyfriend #4”
but to go along with this section, you can think of him as that if you’d like.
This one I fell for almost immediately, which is actually very unusual for me.
According to dad, in “real relationships” you do things you don’t necessarily
want to do because the other person wants you to. This has been back and forth
between the both of us and it’s a new concept. I’ve found myself talking about
marriage with him, and not fearing such an idea. I really do love him. As an
update to this: we broke up.
On a different note, I’m back with “boyfriend #3”. I’ve grown up a lot in the
past few years and am handling a long distance relationship a lot better this
time…even if it is an even larger distance.
CMA stands for Council of the Magickal
Arts... when I talk about CMA I'm talking about the 2 times a yr (Beltaine
& Samhain) when pagans (who have signed up) go to a place up in Cistern, TX
for camping & hanging out... We are getting away from the regular life... I
should mention that this is a clothing optional event & yes there are a lot
of kids, including teens that go there... This is of course where & how I
met boyfriend #3. Yep… I pulled him & made him dance since he was standing
at revel w/ the rest of teen camp & not dancing. Humph. Like I was
going to stand for that? =) Yeah that's really why... that's it I tell you... I
was actually being weird & not shy... Of course I suppose ending up taking
your shirt off (w/o a bra on) wouldn't be called shy now would it?
---Then again… this is me we're talking about...---
Update: I haven’t actually gone to CMA in awhile…and this semester I will be
far too busy to even consider it, but I do miss the friends I’ve got there.
Perhaps I’ll be able to attend the October (Samhain) festival.
Warning: this is the
section of nude stuff...
I suppose
you're also wondering about the whole nudist thing I mentioned earlier.... well
here goes... as a MUCH younger child my family would take us to a nudist resort
quite regularly... we did normal stuff including dancing, listening to music
concerts, swimming, volleyball, Mud Volleyball (now THAT'S FUN unless
the showers break & you have to walk a couple of miles with mud
drying on you), etc. this is all what "normals" would consider normal
except we do these things completely NUDE! of course...
So I guess I might as well tell you what a nudist &/or pagan is.... or you can go to Jason’s Wicca pg., Jason’s nudism pg. or dad's pgs. for more info. Also check out any of the paganism/wiccan or nudism webrings... they'll have a lot of info in them. Now for something completely different Monty Python.
